PROGRAM COORDINATOR
We are seeking a creative and organized individual to join our team as a Recreational Program Coordinator. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing a variety of recreational programs and activities for our community, ensuring a positive and engaging experience for participants of all ages.

What You’ll Do

Develop and implement recreational programs and activities, including sports, fitness, arts, and other recreational programs, based on community needs and interests.

Plan and coordinate program schedules, locations, equipment, and supplies, ensuring smooth program operations.

Recruit, hire, train, supervise, and evaluate program instructors, volunteers, and staff.

Coordinate program registration, participant enrollment, and fee collection, ensuring accurate record-keeping and reporting.

Market and promote programs through various channels, such as flyers, social media, and community outreach, to attract participants and meet program enrollment goals.

Develop and implement program policies, procedures, and safety protocols, ensuring compliance with regulations and best practices.

Monitor program activities and provide feedback to instructors, staff, and participants to ensure quality and safety.

Evaluate program effectiveness and participant satisfaction, and make recommendations for program improvement.

Provide exceptional customer service, addressing inquiries, concerns, and feedback from participants and stakeholders in a professional and timely manner.
What You’ll Need

18+ years old

Preferred 2-3 years of experience in recreational program coordination, including experience in program planning, implementation, and management.

Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to plan, coordinate, and oversee multiple programs and activities simultaneously.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively, and to adapt to changing needs and priorities.

Proficient computer skills for program administration and reporting.
Who We Are

We are a private recreational facility located in Windermere in Southwest Edmonton.

Our heated outdoor pool serves approximately 600 households with a chance to participate in free swim activity times, as well as special programming throughout the summer.
