Dear Upper Windermere Residents,
We're thrilled to invite you to the Windermere Residents Association (WRA) Annual General Meeting (AGM) on May 29th, 2024, at 6:30 PM, conducted via Zoom. This gathering serves as an essential opportunity for our community to come together, discuss important matters, and chart the course for the future of our neighborhood.
AGM Details:
Date: May 29th, 2024
Time: 6:30 PM
Platform: Zoom

How to Attend: A link to join the Zoom meeting will be sent to your registered email with Core Management closer to the date. Keep an eye on your inbox for further details on how to participate.
Your Questions Answered: We understand that you may have specific queries about where your HOA fees are directed and how various community maintenance tasks are managed. Here are answers to some commonly asked questions:
1) What is the HOA money spent on? Your HOA fees contribute to maintaining, staffing, and enhancing the facilities inside the leisure center, such as the pool, ice rink, playground and courts, as well as community-wide services like extra grass mowing, the maintenance of 14 flower beds (i.e., replenishing mulch, watering, planting, weeding, etc.), and snow removal on leisure center property.
2) What is not covered by the HOA fees? While our HOA fees cover various community services, it's important to note that maintenance responsibilities outside the Leisure Centre lie with the city. This includes tree and shrub maintenance, residential road snow removal, and pathway maintenance. It is important to note that the city has designated certain areas as "naturalized". This includes our community stormwater facilities (i.e., ponds) and specific areas around the ponds. These areas are managed by the city, restricting HOA maintenance. Because the pathways around the community are also city property, the HOA can not spray chemicals to reduce weeds in our community. For concerns regarding any of these issues, contacting 311 is recommended, as it is their jurisdiction.
3) How do I find out more? If you have further questions or seek more information, attending the AGM is the best way to get answers. Our team will be available to address your concerns and provide clarity on any community-related matters.
Join us for an informative and engaging AGM where we'll discuss important topics impacting our community and ensure that your voice is heard. We look forward to your participation in shaping the future of Upper Windermere together.
Warm regards & hope to see you there!
