Facility Access

  • Hours: 9am to 9pm. 

  • All residents households are provided one key fob for access during regular operating hours.​

  • Resident fobs must be readily available to staff and will be checked at random. All residents must carry a photo Government issued ID and produce it when asked by staff members.

  • Children unaccompanied by an adult may be required to provide proof of age. 

  • All residents need to use their personal resident fob at the gate for entry. DO NOT open the gate for anyone. Even if you know someone is an Upper Windermere resident, they may have had their fob access revoked due to unacceptable behavior or because they have not paid their annual fees. If you see someone at the gate is having difficulties, contact a staff member on duty, or encourage them to contact the facility manager directly for assistance.

Rules & Courtesies

  • The facility, pool and outdoor rink are used at your own risk as attendants will not be present for all operating hours.​

  • Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult at all times while on site. 

  • Drugs, alcohol, smoking and/or vaping are prohibited on the premises.

  • Music will be available at times during the summer season at the pool.  Music selection will be at the discretion of the Leisure Centre staff.

  • Disrespectful and/or abusive behaviour and language towards other members and/or staff will not be tolerated on the premises.

Lost & Found

  • Unclaimed belongings will be placed in the “Lost and Found” for one week & posted on the Windermere Leisure Centre Facebook page. Item(s) not claimed, will be discarded or donated.

  • WRA is not responsible for personal items left at the facility. 

Guests

  • Every household may bring a maximum of 5 guests to the facility. 

  • Guests must be accompanied AT ALL TIMES with the household resident.

  • Guests must comply to the rules & courtesies of the facility.  If guests fail to comply, the household fob key will be suspended and the household will take full responsibility of any consequences that may arise

Pets

  • Pets are not allowed on the premises at any time. 

Special Events / Parties

  • No private bookings (eg. birthday events, team events, team practices) are allowed at the facility. Any bookings made by residents will be asked to leave and subsequent suspensions will occur.

Food & Drinks

  • Food and drink are permitted on the premises.  Residents must ensure to clean up any items brought onsite during the facilities provided.

  • No glass containers are to be used at the facility for safety reasons.
